Traffic Control
START Group personnel are experts in vertical, confined space and trench rescue. Most of these personnel have been certified through the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshall and are currently employed as Firefighters/Rescuers in various Illinois cities. In addition, a number of the staff members have been instrumental in establishing technical rescue curriculum in the State of Illinois and throughout the Midwest.
OSHA Compliance
START Group personnel are experts in vertical, confined space and trench rescue. Most of these personnel have been certified through the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal and are currently employed as Firefighters/Rescuers in various Illinois cities. In addition, our personnel have a high level of expertise in the OSHA compliance related areas of confined space entry and non-entry rescue, trench and Competent Person, respirator use, fall protection and prevention, and hazardous materials.
Emergency Response Preparedness
START Group personnel are experts in technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, and emergency team response. Most of the personnel have been certified through the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal and are currently employed as Firefighters/Rescuers in various Illinois cities. In addition, a number of the staff members have been instrumental in establishing emergency response curriculum in the State of Illinois and the Nation.
Industrial Fire Suppression Training
START Group personnel are experts in fire extinguisher use, fire suppression, and fire suppression management related activities. All of the personnel have been certified through the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal and most are currently employed as Firefighters/Rescuers in various Illinois cities. In addition, a number of the staff members have been instrumental in establishing emergency response curriculum in the State of Illinois and the Nation. These activities and services are tailored to the industrial fire suppression needs of the client.
Emergency Medical Training
START Group personnel are experts in technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, and emergency medical services. Most of the personnel have been certified through the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal and are currently employed as Firefighters/Rescuers in various Illinois cities. In addition, all the staff members have been or are currently certified as EMT-B and/or EMT-P (at the National or State level). Selected personnel are also certified as American Heart Association Train-the-Trainers. These activities and services are tailored to the emergency medical needs of the client.
Technical Rescue
START Group began as a company specializing in vertical and confined space training. Since that time, technical rescue has increased in both curriculum and need. In order to meet customers’ needs and offer a more comprehensive approach to technical rescue, START Group has increased our areas of focus and expertise by offering site and topic specific comprehensive technical rescue training and emergency preparedness.
